Filming Good Omens and The Watch

In case you hadn’t heard:

The new Discworld series “The Watch” (AKA CSI:Ankh-Morpork) has been approved by Terry Pratchett and will go into production with BBC Worldwide.

The project to film GOOD OMENS is also going forward.

I am… cautiously excited. Because those are two texts that I love and adore so they could be brilliant. But, you know, there’s also fear. Because I remember the Discworld cartoons, where they managed to skim off most of the funny. And the movies which only told the top layer of the story, which is really the least interesting part of a Pratchett book.

Still. Imagine what they could be like if they’re done well…
